DEARBORN, MI -- Triple A Michigan reports gas prices statewide are up 9-cents from a week ago.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.13 per gallon for regular unleaded. The price is 21-cents less than this time last month and 18-cents less than this time last year.
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel costs at 2,800 gas stations in the state. The club says the highest price for gas was in Jackson at $3.19 per gallon, and the lowest price was $3.00 a gallon in Traverse City.
Motorists are paying an average of $46 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of about $12 from 2023's highest price.
