DEARBORN, MI -- Triple A Michigan reports gas prices statewide are down 27-cents from a week ago.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $4.38 per gallon for regular unleaded. The price is 20-cents less than this time last month and $1.28 more than this time last year.
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel costs at 2,800 gas stations in the state. The club says the highest price for gas was in Traverse City at $4.48 per gallon, and the lowest price was $4.15 a gallon in Flint.
Motorists are paying an average of $66 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of about $15 from 2025's highest price.
