Peter White children's library moving out

MARQUETTE, MI--   Peter White Public Library’s children’s area is temporarily moving to the Westwood Mall.

In order to renovate and expand the current space the entire lower level of the library will be closed to the public beginning May 1. Relocation of the children’s library will take place April 30 through May 6. It will reopen May 7 next to Bath and Body Works in the mall.

Officials say children’s programming will be suspended through June 8. It will resume on the 9th with the 2018 Summer Reading Kick Off Party. The children’s library should move back to its new space in Peter White Library in November.

The mall is making space available, provided that the library cover the cost of utilities.
