ESCANABA, MI-- It’s online instruction only for the Escanaba Junior/Senior High School until October 12.
In a letter to parents, Superintendent Coby Fletcher said a case of ongoing transmission of COVID-19 has been identified at the school. That has triggered a two-week shutdown of the building, but classes will continue via livestream.
Staff will continue to report and will livestream classes at their regularly scheduled times. The administration is providing Chromebooks for students who need them.
All Junior High/Senior High activities have been canceled, including Friday’s football game and Saturday’s track meet.
