Bothwell Middle School counselor appointed to state board

MARQUETTE, MI--   Governor Gretchen Whitmer has appointed a Marquette woman to the Michigan Board of Counseling.

Lesley Addison is a school counselor at Bothwell Middle School. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology, an education certificate from Albion College and a Master's in Guidance and Counseling from Bowling Green State University.

Addison is appointed to represent the general public for a term starting July 1 and expiring June 30, 2025.

The appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
