GWINN, MI— Gwinn Area Community Schools will teach by remote instruction all this week.
Superintendent Brandon Bruce says officials saw a steady decline in attendance last week due to COVID and they anticipated cases would go up even more over the weekend.
Going virtual will give the district 10 days to clean and disinfect, and staff and students have time to get better and return healthy.
Bruce says the district appreciates everyone’s understanding as officials work through things they’ve never dealt with before.
