MARQUETTE, MI— Northern Michigan University is on track with its search for a new president.
The preferred submission date for applications was Monday, and the Presidential Search Advisory Committee will begin a review of candidates on August 10. The committee will select candidates to interview on Zoom September 7 and 9, then will whittle the pool down to three or four finalists.
The finalists will come to Marquette for in-person interviews the weeks of September 12 and 19 and to meet the campus community. The NMU Board of Trustees will also meet with each finalist on campus before a scheduled announcement of the new president the week of September 26.
