HOUGHTON, MI— The MTU Parade of Nations is calling for participants in its “Fairy Tales from Around the World” float parade next month.

The annual event, which takes place in Houghton and Hancock, celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the Keweenaw region. Everyone from the community is invited to design a float that represents various fairy tales from different cultures.

The 2023 Parade of Nations begins September 16th at 11 a.m. at the Quincy Green in Hancock and ends at the Dee Stadium in Houghton.
