Hancock schools offer survey to get input regarding qualities of next superintendent

HANCOCK, MI— The Hancock Public Schools District has released details about its search for a new superintendent.

Officials have posted a surveyto help identify the qualities, experiences, and skills residents are looking for in the next superintendent. Results will be collected October 16^th.

The Hancock Board of Education will meet November 6^th with the Michigan Association of School Boards for a work session on the collected data.

November 9^th is the cutoff date for applicants. If necessary, the district will call a special meeting on November 10^th to review candidates and go over the next steps of the process.

Officials hope to interview candidates on November 13^th and have someone in place soon afterward.
