FM Studio A

MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education has narrowed down the list of potential nicknames for Marquette Senior High School to three.

On Tuesday, the board discussed the eight nicknames provided by the MSHS Advisory Classes. Members then whittled the list down to three. They include “Redjackets,” “Reds,” and “Sentinels.”

The board will make a final decision during a special meeting Monday at 5:30 p.m at Kaufman Auditorium.

Community input regarding the names is welcome. Feedback can be emailed to schoolboard@mapsnet.org.
