LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential – or MiLEAP - has announced the availability of grant funds in support of community-based organizations providing before-school, after-school, or summer programming to children.
Out-of-School time grants totaling $57 million will support programs that facilitate socialization, better academic performance, and build confidence for Michigan’s youth, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for them outside of classroom hours.
