ESCANABA, MI— The president of Bay de Noc Community College is one of three finalists in the presidential search for Grand Rapids Community College.
Dr. Nerita Hughes became Bay College’s sixth president on July 10, 2023.
Before her present position, Hughes served as the Interim Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Innovation and the Dean for the School of Business, Careers, Education and Workforce Innovation at North Hennepin Community College in Minnesota.
She joins Dr. Jason Rivera of Muncie, Indiana and Dr. Kathryn Rogalski of Green Bay, Wisconsin as finalists for the presidential post.
