Sub banned from working in Gladstone school district after students complain about 'exhibited behavior'

GLADSTONE, MI— A substitute teacher was removed from Gladstone High School Thursday after students brought concerns about the teacher’s behavior to the principal.

Around 12:30 p.m., some students met with school administration, saying they were uncomfortable with the substitute’s “exhibited behavior.” The GHS school resource officer and administrator escorted the teacher out of the building immediately after the meeting.

Officials say at no time was there any immediate danger to students or staff members.

The individual will no longer be permitted to work in the district, and the incident remains under investigation.
