MARQUETTE, MI— Northern Michigan University’s Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Success is stepping down.
Dr. Anne Dahlman has announced her resignation, effective August 1. She has held the position since 2024. NMU President Chris Olsen made the announcement in an email on Monday.
Dr. Robert Winn, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will be stepping into the provost’s role for a two-year term. President Olsen says the appointment will give Northern ample time to conduct thoughtful, nationwide searches for provost/vice president and find permanent deans for the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business.
