Delta County Commissioner David Moyle facing recall next year

ESCANABA, MI— A recall election will be held in May for a Delta County commissioner.

The group Delta County Citizens for Ethical Leadership submitted 671 valid signatures to recall District 4 Commissioner David Moyle. That’s five more than the 666 required.

Petitions were circulated following the firing of County Administrator Emily DeSalvo in February.

Also targeted are District 3 Commissioner Robert Barron and District 5 Commissioner Robert Peterson. Petition signatures are still being gathered for Peterson’s recall, and the county clerk continues to review signatures for Barron’s recall effort.
