Registered voters able to vote early in presidential primary

MARQUETTE, MI— Early voting is now available for the February 27^th presidential primary in Michigan.

Registered voters will decide which Republican and Democrat will run in the November presidential election.

The early voting period takes place for a minimum of nine consecutive days, ending on the Sunday before an election. Voters can go to early polling locations, if available, and insert their completed ballot into a tabulator.

After polls close at 8 p.m. on Election Day, all ballots submitted at an early voting site are totaled and reported, along with the vote totals from absentee and Election Day ballots.
