MARQUETTE, MI— A few municipalities have issues on Tuesday’s consolidated election ballot.
Richmond Township residents will vote on 2 mills over 5 years for general operations.
The Gwinn Area Community Schools district is offering a $30.9 million bond proposal to upgrade facilities and enhance safety.
In the Lake Linden-Hubbell district, an operations millage renewal is on the ballot, along with a $6.5 million bond proposal. The money would be used to replace boilers and purchase two buses, among other things.
In Gladstone, residents will consider a $16.9 million bond to upgrade buildings and add programming. And a $4.8 million bond proposal to add a multi-purpose room to the high school is also on the ballot for the Gladstone district.
Polls are open until 8 p.m.
