LANSING, MI— Former federal prosecutor Mark Totten has suspended his campaign for Michigan Attorney General.
A Democrat, Totten announced his candidacy last April. He says recent endorsement decisions by major labor union groups led him to conclude “there is not a viable path forward through an early endorsement convention."
Totten made a previous run for AG in 2014, losing to Bill Schuette.
His exit leaves Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald, and public defender William Noakes as the remaining candidates.
