MARQUETTE, MI-- U.S. Representative Dan Benishek will take a look at green energy efforts in Marquette County Monday.
The Republican Congressman will meet with leaders in energy innovation, starting with a “green tour” in Gwinn at 10 a.m. Benishek will then learn about a new bio-mass project in Marquette and meet with officials at the Marquette Board of Light and Power at 2 p.m.
Benishek says Michigan has become a leader in energy production in the U.S., and these projects are just the beginning.
