ESCANABA, MI— Residents can now register online for the teen defensive driving course to be held by Michigan State Police in Escanaba in June.
A website allowing parents to register their kids for the weeklong event starting June 27 was non-functional for a time, but officials say the page is now up and running.
The course is open to teens ages 16 to 19 with a GDL level 2. Specially trained troopers will instruct young drivers in several areas of defensive and emergency driving.
