Marquette to present Harborfest at Mattson Lower Harbor Park

MARQUETTE, MI— Harbor Fest returns to Marquette’s Lower Harbor this week to celebrate the end of summer.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday, residents can partake in food, beverages and music. Acts include Fleetwood Mac and Foreigner tribute bands, while the NMU Marching Band will make an appearance under the baton of new director Steven Riley.

Sponsored by Marquette West Rotary, the festival raises funds to support nonprofit organizations that improve the quality of life for county residents. Marquette West Rotary was founded in 1984 and has raised over $700,000 for more than 50 local groups.
