Pigs-N-Heat hockey game to be held Wednesday night

MARQUETTE, MI— Marquette County police and firefighters are facing off on the ice Wednesday for charity.

The annual Pigs-N-Heat Charity Hockey Game raises money for a fire relief fund. That money is used to assist those who have lost their homes and belongings in a fire.

The Pigs-N-Heat game draws between 2,500 to 3,000 people and raises approximately $15,000 to $20,000.

This year’s game will be held Wednesday at Lakeview Arena. The puck drops at 6:45 p.m.
