Hunt for Easter eggs with the United Way of Marquette County

MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI— The United Way of Marquette County is holding its 10th annual City-Wide Egg Hunt later this month.

Starting April 14, 12 eggs will be hidden throughout the greater Marquette area. Clues to their location will be posted on Facebook twice a day. People will search throughout the week until all the eggs are found. Winners will receive gift baskets from local shops.

Then, on April 19, the United Way and Kiwanis Club of Marquette will put on a Kids Easter Egg Hunt at Presque Isle Park. More than 5,000 toy-filled eggs will be hidden in the green space near the band shell.

The hunt starts at 11 a.m., but participants are urged to arrive early.

More information is at www.uwmqt.org.
