Pioneer Days 2025 run through Saturday in Negaunee

NEGAUNEE, MI— Pioneer Days are in full swing in Negaunee.

The theme of this year’s weeklong festival is “Hometown Proud.”

Wednesday at 7 p.m., the Negaunee City Band will perform in concert at the Breitung Park Bandshell. Several Negaunee High School class reunions will also be held Wednesday through Friday.

On Thursday, students in 1^st through 5^th grades who attend Negaunee Public Schools or live in the city will compete in the 2025 Pioneer Princess Pageant.

On Saturday, the Irontown Fun Run & Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. and Music in the Park will be held at Old Towne Park from 2 to 7 p.m. And the Negaunee Fire Department Firefighter Races will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue by the Fire Hall.
