Camp STAR to help kids have fun while grieving losses

BIG BAY, MI— A free grief camp for kids and teens will be held at Bay Cliff Health Camp this upcoming weekend.

STAR Children’s Bereavement Services is hosting Camp STAR August 8-10 for kids and teens ages 8 to 17 who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives.

There will be traditional camp activities along with other activities that offer grief support and ways to honor and remember those who have died. It’s designed to provide a safe environment and support system within which to share experiences, learn together, and understand that they are not alone.
