HOUGHTON, MI— The Michigan Public Service Commission is holding its October 15 regular meeting at Michigan Tech in order to meet with Upper Peninsula residents.
While they’re here, commissioners will meet with community groups and interested organizations. They’ll also participate in the North American Power Symposium 2026, October 11-13 at MTU. It will bring together students, faculty, and industry leaders in power engineering and research.
Directly following the symposium, Michigan Day will be held at Tech on October 13. Michiganders from academia, industry, and government who work in the field of electric power systems will network and collaborate.
The commission’s regular meeting will be held October 15 at 11 a.m. at Tech’s Memorial Union Building.
