No injuries reported in Marquette house fire

No injuries are reported in a house fire in Marquette. The city fire department was dispatched to the 300 block of Harrison Street this (Wednesday) morning on a report of a possible electrical fire. Smoke was detected on the west side of the building, and the fire was located in the attic of the home. The fire was extinguished and the attic vented. Residents were assisted by ‘Pigs n Heat’ and roomed at the Ramada Inn in Marquette.

The Marquette Fire Department was assisted at the scene by Marquette Police, Semco, and Marquette Board of Light and Power.
