ESCANABA, MI— Fire has destroyed a shed in Escanaba.
Department of Public Safety officers were called Monday around 1:25 p.m. to a trailer on the 1400 block of North 23rd Street. The shed was fully engulfed when they arrived.
Officers extinguished the flames, but the shed was declared a total loss. Neighboring trailers sustained minor damage.
Police say the fire may have been ignited by a heat lamp, but its cause remains under investigation.
