McMILLAN, MI— Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal fire in Luce County.
Troopers were dispatched Wednesday to a home at 7177 County Road 415 in McMillan. The structure was a total loss. Firefighters discovered one deceased person inside the house.
The cause of the fire and the identity of the person are unknown at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
Troopers were assisted by Columbus Township Fire, Luce County Fire, the Luce County Sheriff's Office, the MSP Canine Unit and the MSP Fire Investigator.
