Name of man killed in McMillan house fire released

McMILLAN, MI— Michigan State Police have released the name of a person killed in a Luce County house fire last week.

The fire completely destroyed the home on County Road 415 in McMillan Township Wednesday. Firefighters discovered the body of 42-year-old Derrick Maddox inside.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and the case remains under investigation.
