SHINGLETON, MI— A Shingleton man has been killed in a house fire.
Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post were dispatched early Thursday morning to a residence on Percy Road. Troopers found the structure fully engulfed. Firefighters from the Munising Township Fire Department tried to extinguish the flames, but the house was a total loss.
When officials entered the home, they found a deceased man inside.
The victim’s name has not yet been released, and the fire remains under investigation.
The AuTrain Fire Department assisted at the scene.
