HOUGHTON, MI— Officials are investigating a fire at a Houghton residence.
Houghton Police were called around 4:20 Friday morning to assist at the scene at 918 College Avenue.
The fire apparently started on the third floor. All occupants got out of the house without injuries.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. It remains under investigation by Houghton firefighters and police.
Crews are still at the scene. Traffic is being rerouted at US-41 and MacInnes Drive.
