ISLE ROYALE NATIONAL PARK, MI— The wildfire on Isle Royale National Park is 100 percent contained.
Minnesota wildland fire crews left on Sunday. An incident commander from the Hiawatha National Forest continues to monitor the burn area.
All affected trails, campgrounds, and docks are now open, but cross-country camping zones 11 and 12 remain closed.
Park officials say hazards may still exist. If hiking through the burn area, stay on the trail for your safety. Rock cairns are in place on the Mount Franklin Trail to guide hikers through the area.
