MARQUETTE, MI— The porch of a Marquette residence was damaged by fire Wednesday evening.
The Marquette Fire Department was dispatched around 7:25 p.m. to 107 West Prospect Street and found the porch fully involved.
Firefighters knocked down the flames, chased down hotspots, and performed some overhaul.
No injuries were reported.
Crews cleared the scene around 8:40 p.m. The Marquette Police Department, Marquette Township Fire Department, and Chocolay Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
