MARQUETTE, MI— A Marquette restaurant has been damaged by fire.
The City Fire Department was called Thursday around 6:30 p.m. to Jeffrey’s Restaurant on South McClellan Avenue. Crews found the building filled with smoke and a fire in the kitchen area.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and conducted salvage and overhaul operations. No injuries were reported.
A Marquette City Fire Department Investigator is looking into the cause of the fire.
A damage estimate to the building is unknown at this time.
