ESCANABA, MI— Fire damaged more than just a garage in Escanaba Thursday.
Around 11:20 p.m., the Escanaba Department of Public Safety was called to 4953 Danforth Road on a report of a fully engulfed structure fire.
Officers found a detached garage on fire. It had also ignited a boat and two vehicles on the property.
Officers remained on the scene for about two hours and were able to salvage some property.
No injuries were reported.
Assisting in the incident were Delta County Central Dispatch, the Escanaba Township Volunteer Fire Department, Delta County Sheriff's Department, Michigan State Police, DTE, and UPPCO.
