HOUGHTON, MI— Police found a body inside a burning structure in Houghton early Friday morning.
The Houghton Police and Fire Departments responded around 1:45 a.m. to 923 Dodge Street. When crews began extinguishing flames at the entrance to the building, they encountered a deceased man inside.
The Michigan State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene.
No further information will be released, pending further investigation.
