NEGAUNEE, MI— Firefighters were called twice to a house fire in Negaunee Monday.
WLUC-TV reports crews responded to a home on Rock Street around 1:30 p.m. and saw fire in the attic. The two occupants of the house were able to get out safely.
Firefighters returned to the scene just before 5:30 p.m. when the fire rekindled.
No injuries were reported, but the house is a total loss. The homes on either side of the fire sustained cosmetic damage.
Rock Street was closed because water runoff from the hoses turned into heavy ice.
