IRON MOUNTAIN, MI— No injuries were reported during a fire at the Iron Mountain Wendy’s restaurant Tuesday.
Iron Mountain Police and Fire Services was dispatched at 2:48 a.m. to the structure fire at 800 South Stephenson Avenue. Crews found smoke coming from the south side of the building.
Firefighters found flames in the kitchen area and quickly extinguished them. They searched the building to make sure no further fire conditions existed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Assisting in the incident were the Iron Mountain Police Department, Iron Mountain DPW, DTE, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, and Michigan State Police.
