Firefighter injured, home gutted by flames in Kingsford

house fire

KINGSFORD, MI— Fire has destroyed a Kingsford home.

Tuesday at 2:23 p.m., the Kingsford Public Safety Department was dispatched to 116 Withworth Avenue for a garage fire. Upon arrival, crews found the garage fully engulfed and the attached residence was also involved.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
