LANSING, MI (AP)-- Governor Rick Snyder has signed into law a ban on hunting animals with a drone or using a drone to harass hunters.
He said Tuesday that using electronic devices to "manipulate" hunting and fishing is a "misuse of the natural resources we are blessed with."
The governor also signed a law letting retired federal law enforcement officers carry concealed pistols in no-carry zones such as schools, hospitals and arenas. Retired state law enforcement officers already are allowed to carry concealed weapons in "gun-free" areas.
Other bills signed into law are designed to make it easier for employers to comply with court-ordered wage garnishments.
