U.P. Congressman's Veterans ID Card bill sent to President

va.gov

UNDATED - Legislation to provide veterans with an ID verifying their service is headed to the President’s desk for his signature. Michigan Republican Congressman DR Dan Benishek says the ‘Veteran’s ID Card Act’ will allow veterans “to immediately prove their service to employers, thereby expanding their access to jobs and a number of other benefits.” The new ID card is an option veterans now have to replace the DD-214 paper form. The bill was co-sponsored by Benishek.
