Governor Whitmer Holds Getting Things Done Road Trip Rally in Marquette

(Marquette, MI) - Governor Gretchen Whitmer held a “Getting Things Done” road trip rally in Marquette Saturday, joining more than 200 Yoopers to fire up voters and share her vision for Michigan. During the rally, Whitmer discussed her work to build a stronger Michigan with record investments that support hard working families. She also talked about her work expanding access to affordable child care for 150,000 Michigan families… ending the retirement tax… and fighting to triple the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Governor Whitmer also dropped in to The Chatham Pub to talk with local residents about the issues most important to them.

The “Getting Things Done” road trip will make stops in every part of the state, from Southeast Michigan to Western Michigan to the Upper Peninsula. Governor Whitmer and Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist will join canvass kickoffs, vote marches, GOTV rallies, and other events throughout the tour.
