MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette City Commission has a new member and a new mayor.
Paul Schloegel was sworn in at an organizational meeting Monday night. He was elected to replace former Commissioner Fred Stonehouse, who was term-limited out.
And commissioners unanimously voted to make Sally Davis Marquette’s new mayor. Jessica Hanley was selected as mayor pro tem.
City Clerk Kyle Whitney administered the oath of office to each person in their new position.
