MARQUETTE, MI— Kip Belcher is Marquette County’s new administrator.
He was selected at a special meeting of the Marquette County Board of Commissioners this week by a 3-1 vote.
The board had originally selected Dennis Liimatta to replace retiring administrator Scott Erbisch in February. Liimatta was Marquette Township Supervisor before going to Grand Blanc Township to be that municipality’s supervisor over the past nine years.
Board Chair Joe Derocha said Liimatta withdrew from the position.
