Undated - The Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ Eastern Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Council is meeting later this month to hear updates on various topics including the DNR’s wolf-abundance trail-camera survey and moose research study. Additional business will include updates on current projects within the parks and recreation and fisheries divisions.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th at 6pm at the Little Bear East Community Center in St Ignace.
The DNR’s eastern and western Upper Peninsula citizens’ advisory councils are designed to provide local input to advise the DNR on regional programs and policies, identify areas in which the department can be more effective and responsive and offer insight and guidance from members’ own experiences and constituencies.
