HANCOCK, MI— Dial Help has become part of the Portage Health Foundation.
The service is a crisis helpline that also provides problem assistance, referrals, education, and training.
PHF Executive Director Kevin Store says the acquisition will strengthen the work Dial Help does on a daily basis. PHF and Dial Help staff will work to optimize operations and implement strategies to fill mental and behavior health gaps in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties.
All Dial Help staff, offices, and services—including the Crisis Line—will continue to operate as they have.
