MARQUETTE, MI— NMU dedicated its new Behavior Education Assessment and Research—or BEAR—Center Thursday.
The center is a university clinic and research facility overseen by the Department of Psychological Sciences. It provides behavior and learning support for children, adolescents, and adults in the community with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or traumatic brain injury.
Children with difficult or problematic behaviors are also offered family and school support.
