Starting Saturday, firefighters will hold a kickoff parade and static display from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Bluff Street behind Harlow Park.  There will be more than 20 fire trucks from around the county, cake, clowns, and Sparky the Fire Dog.

Firefighters are also visiting second- and third-grade classrooms in all Marquette elementary schools next week to talk about fire escape plans, smoke detectors, and fire safety throughout the home.
