LANSING, MI (AP)-- Michigan is reporting 43 cases of fungal meningitis in the national outbreak along with three other cases related to contaminated steroids.
The death toll remains at four, including a Cass County woman whose meningitis was linked to treatments for back pain across the state border at an Indiana clinic.
The number of Michigan meningitis cases is up by four since Friday.
A steroid made by a Massachusetts pharmacy has been tied to a national outbreak of a rare fungal form of meningitis that has killed 15 across the country.
